Nelson Sauvin Single Hop, Kveik Yeast, 3 Day IPA, Homebrew SMASH

Homebrew Beer Recipes
In this brewing video, we show you how to make an IPA using Kveik yeast and Nelson Sauvin hops. Watch this video if you are looking for a homebrew recipe that makes an IPA with citrus lemon notes and Kveik yeast character. This is the second video in a 3 part series where we make 3 IPAs with Kveik yeast back to back. We’re brewing these beers to share with some friends who are visiting at the end of the week, so Kveik yeast is essential to our recipes because it is meant to ferment very quickly at high temperatures without creating any off-flavors. The Kveik yeast we’re using in this brewing video was harvested from the previous beer made in this series. Harvesting yeast is always a good idea if you want to save money and save wild or expensive yeast. We also ferment this beer in our brewing kettle in order to ferment at the high temperatures this yeast needs. Watch this video if you want to learn how to make a good IPA fast and if you want to learn about a special kind of Norwegian yeast. This is a great recipe to make as a summer beer that you can take to cookouts, tailgates, or pool days. We recommend you brew this at home and pair it with steaks, hamburgers, pasta, and snacks like potato chips and nuts.
