Check out this home brew video where I vastly improve this coopers lager beer kit by turning it into an Amber Ale beer. I do this by simply steeping specialty grains, boiling these beer grains with the coopers home brew liquid malt extract that comes with the coopers beer kit and also adding hops at 3 different times during the boil.
Doing this makes a very nice amber ale home brew. Coopers beer kits are not bad on their own, but by adding specialty grains and hops and actually boiling the liquid malt extract you can greatly improve this home brew.
