making ‘hard’ apple and pear cider

Homebrew Cider
This is the first batch of ‘hard’ cider for 2019 – I’ve pressed windfall fruits of both apples and pears but am fermenting them separately (but may blend them later). I’ve also had to chaptalise (add sugar) as the Specific gravity of the juice was not high enough at the start (that has a lot to do with the fact they were not fully ripe and the low amount of sunshine we get her in the North.)
