Hi guys! I’m so excited to share with you how I make my own kombucha at home!! It really is SO easy & incredibly affordable once you have the supplies. And it doesn’t even take much as far as supplies! Start making your own kombucha at home so you can have the gut health benefits of this fermented drink, without having to spend a ton of money! Dehydrated SCOBY: http://amzn.to/2CjCghk

Ingredients:
8 cups filtered water
4 organic tea bags
3/4 cups white granulated sugar
1/2 cup kombucha from last batch (or plain kombucha from the store)
1 SCOBY
Later, 3/4 cup juice

Directions:
1. Bring filtered water to a boil, and remove from heat.
2. Add tea bags and steep for 20 minutes.
3. Stir in sugar until it dissolves, and then let cool to room temp.
4. Pour tea into big glass jar, add 1/2 cup kombucha if not already in jar. Add SCOBY.
5. Cover jar with cheese cloth or paper towel & secure with a rubber band.
6. Let the tea sit undisturbed in a dark place for about 7-10 days.
—————-1st fermentation is complete——————–
1. Remove SCOBY from the jar.
2. Add 1/4 cup juice of choice to each of the kombucha bottles.
3. Pour fermented tea into each of the bottles, making sure to reserve 1/2 cup in the big glass jar.
4. Let the bottle sit undisturbed, at room temp, for 5 days.
——————2nd fermentation is complete————-
1. Add kombucha bottles to refrigerator to cool, and then enjoy!! 🙂
