It’s time to taste our Kombucha x Mead mashup!
We made this batch with a kombucha SCOBY, 1 lb Wildflower Honey, 11g Ale Yeast & water to reach 1 gallon.
How’d it turn out? It’s fizzy, floral, sweet, sour & dry. It tastes a bit more like a fruity sour beer than either Kombucha or Mead. Next time, we’d blend kombucha and mead at bottling for more control over the flavors.
