King of the Hill is BACK and Hank & Bobby are homebrewing! So you know we had to try recreating these beers IRL.
Check out Part 1, where we recreate Bobby’s beer, in our highlight! In Part 2, we’re brewing Hank’s beer.
His beer is described as being similar to Alamo beer (which we think is a pilsner), but he’s able to brew it pretty fast so it’s definitely NOT a traditional lager. Our best guess is that is a pale ale. Hank also dumps a ton of hops into the beer, so we will too. We went with Amarillo hops because…Texas.
We’re using the Craft a Brew American Pale Ale recipe kit (featuring Cascade and Perle hops) as the base PLUS an extra ounce of Amarillo hops.
