How to brew beer at home

Homebrew Beer Guides
Brewing beer at home doesn’t take too much equipment. Fancy gear can make the process easier, but if you’re just starting, don’t overthink the basics.

This is one of my early Brew-in-a-bag videos from a few years back that walks through the main steps of making homemade beer with simple equipment.

Basic Process:
1. Mash: A hot water bath for grain
2. Lauter: Separates the sugary liquid (called “wort”)
3. Boil: Sanitizes and prepares the wort for fermentation
4. Ferment: Added yeast turns wort into beer
