How to make a scoby for kombucha!
Directions:
Start off by boiling 7 cups of water. Add 4 black tea bags once the water is done boiling and let it seep for 15 minutes. Stir in 1 cup of sugar and take out the tea bags. Let it cool off to room temperature and transfer it to a large mason jar. Add 1 cup of unflavoured, raw, unfiltered kombucha. Cover with a clean cloth and elastic and store it in a dark cool place for 4 weeks and you got yourself a scoby and you’re ready for your first firmentaion!
