In this video I have my good friends Adam and Amanda over to help brew a Brown ale using Maple Syrup and Toasted Pecans. We are brewing this beer for a local competition, where Maple Syrup must be the highlight of the beer! Check out the full recipe below!

Sticky Nuts Recipe (5.5 gallon Batch):

Grain Bill:
Maris Otter Pale Malt 8.0 lbs (72.5%)
American Chocolate Malt 0.5 lbs. (4.5%)
Victory Malt 1.25 lbs. (11.3%)
Crystal/Caramel 60L Malt 0.5 lbs. (4.5%)

Pure Maple Syrup (add at flameout) 12.5 oz. (7.1%)

Mash Temp: 154F

Magnum 0.25 oz. 60 mins
East Kent Goldings (EKG) 0.5 oz. 15 mins

Roasted Pecans 12.0 oz. 20 mins

Fermentis – Safale – English Ale Yeast S-04
Fermentation Temp = 65-67F
