Brewing beer at home with basic equipment (BIAB for Beginners)

Homebrew Beer for Beginners
Brewing your own beer at home can be done with basic gear. In this video, I show you how to brew beer using a beginner-friendly, all-grain method known as Brew-in-a-Bag (BIAB). This method is a fast, cheap, and easy way to brew homemade beer with minimal equipment.

KETTLE:
Using a stainless-steel pot or kettle with a drain valve is best.

FERMENTER VENT (Airlock):
The vent, or airlock, allows carbon dioxide to escape during fermentation but prevents air from entering into the fermenter. (link above).

OXYGENATION:
For a 5-gallon batch, adding pure oxygen at a flow rate of 1 liter per minute for about 60-90 seconds will provide an adequate oxygen supply (10-15 ppm). A rotameter (link above) will allow you to measure the flow rate of the oxygen.

Aerating wort will provide about 8ppm of oxygen, which is not ideal, but still sufficient.
