What’s a SMaSH beer and why should you brew one?

Homebrew Beer Recipes
SMaSH beers are simple recipes with only 4 total ingredients, one malt, one hop variety, yeast, and water, about as simple as brewing gets. In fact, SMaSH stands for Single Malt and Single Hop. They can teach you more about beer and brewing than any overly complicated recipe could. Check out this brew day as I try my darndest to brew a SMaSH beer and end up learning some things along the way.
