While installing an RO system for maximum control of my brew water has always been in the plans, moving to an area primarily served by private wells pushed it up the priority list. This video summarizes how I installed the system including the addition of a 30 gallon storage tank with automatic float valve. Between the RO system and some extra tubing and fittings, I’m about $150 lighter. The barrel was free, but I imagine it would set you back another $30 on craigslist or Ebay.
