1 Gallon Brew Day – Extract Pale Ale Kit – Beginners guide to extract brewing

Homebrew Beer Guides
Short on time and space but want to get started brewing beer? Check out a 1 gallon kit!
You don’t need much more than a large stock pot that will hold about 1.5 gallons of water, a fermenter, and the extract kit of course. For this batch I found the kit on Northern Brewer and it took me a little less than 2 hours from start to finish. I have to say, it was a nice break from a much longer all grain brew day and I’m sure I’ll do this again especially for experimental batches!
