Hi folks, in this film I’ll show you how to make a delicious apple and cranberry cider using the turbo cider method.

The cider is made from cartons of apple juice from concentrate, and a carton of cranberry juice from concentrate.

The recipe is extremely easy and just involves pouring the fruit juices into a demijohn and then adding some extra sugar and some yeast. I add 300g of brewing sugar and 1 1/2 heaped teaspoons of Lalvin EC1118 champagne, sparkling wine and cider yeast.

After 2 weeks I clear the cider with ClearIt wine finings by Youngs.

I actually left the finings in for 1 month before bottling, there was no particular reason for this, I was just busy. I bottled the cider with priming sugar to give it a sparkle.

The final ABV was 7.9%.

After conditioning for 2 weeks I tasted the cider and it was a delicious rose mdeium dry cider with the roundness of the apples and the sharpness of the cranberries.
