How to make Hard Cider: a Basic Introduction

Ever wanted to learn how to make Hard Cider? Here are the basics for making hard apple cider from a single gallon of apple juice.

Materials list:
* 1 gal. glass jug of apple juice
* packet of yeast
* paper towel + rubber band
* (or rubber stopper and airlock)

Recommended yeast strains:
* Mangrove Jack’s M02
* Vintner’s Harvest SN9
* Lalvin D47
* Danstar Nottingham
(this last one is typically a beer yeast, but it produces good results, too.)

Be sure to select an apple juice that is pasteurized and free of preservatives. And then just follow the instructions in the video.
