How To Make Kombucha At Home (Singapore) – Simple Recipe for Beginners, Just 3 Ingredients!

Hi everyone!

This isn’t about coffee, but I thought I would share how I made kombucha from scratch, using a SCOBY that I cultivated from an unpasteurized kombucha purchased from the supermarket. In this video, I show you my extremely simple recipe to make kombucha just with SCOBY, tea, and sugar.

Ingredients:
1. SCOBY
2. Tea
3. Sugar

Directions:
1. Add tea to hot water.
2. Add 3 teaspoons of white refined sugar and stir until dissolved.
3. Steep tea in hot water for about 15 mins. Leave it to cool completely until it reaches room temperature.
4. Once the mixture is completely cool, add SCOBY into the tea mixture.
5. Leave for 5-7 days until the tea lightens. You now have kombucha!
6. Remove the SCOBY, and store the resulting kombucha in the fridge.
7. You may choose to add any fruits of your choice, but this video shows the most basic plain kombucha you can make.
