Using a Blow-off Tube for Home Fermentation

Homebrew Beer Equipment
When you have a vigorous fermentation there’s a chance that you will “blow the top” off your fermentor. To avoid this use a blow off tube to give your fermentation more room to move! Using a blow off tubing has many advantages over a simple air lock. First you avoid having your fermenter covered in sticky yeast glop. Second it’s a surefire way to keep the air out of your brew. and third the tubing is easy to clean.
