Modifying Hard Cider – 3 Flavors From One Batch

Homebrew Cider
Mike presents three ciders each with a different ingredient.
The first cider we’ve tasted before on the channel its just straight up quick and easy hard cider made from store bought apple juice and fermented with Nottingham yeast.
For the next two I fermented with additional ingredients. I fermented one batch on a couple pounds of frozen raspberries. Unfortunately, I think this cider picked up an odd off flavor from the carboy it was in. The second modified cider was fermented with a large honey bear added to it. This one I called a honey fortified cider.

Each one was bottle carbonated and conditioned. We try all three side by side in this video.

CHEERS!
