Homebrew Cider
Taste test + recipe!
2*470 g jars of morello cherries(got mine from Morrisons)
150 g table sugar
1 teaspoon yeast+1 teaspoon yeast nutrient
4 litres apple juice ( cheapest),one cupof cold tea for tannin,
Blend cherries with 1 litre of juice
Pour into pan and boil for 15mins,
turn off heat and add sugar mix until dissolved and allow to cool,
strain into demijohn and add 3litres of apple juice and cold tea,
leave to cool,then add yeast and nutrient once below 22 degrees c,
give a good shake,fit bung and airlock and allow to ferment at warmish room temp!
