You will need :
Dried Jamaican Sorrel flowers
1 cup of Kombucha starter ( previously brewed kombucha )
A scoby( live culture of bacteria and yeast ) https://a.co/d/5ta3cY6
2 cups of water( boiled)
A platic pitcher
A milk cloth( to strain kombucha )
A gallon glass jar
Kombucha bottles with lids
Steep 1/2 cup of Dried Jamacuan Sorrel flowers in
two cups of hot water. Removes flowers and dissolve one cup of granulated sugar in the hot mixture. Pour into a gallon pitcher nearly filled with cod water. Stir and allow mixture to cool. Add in a cup of previously fermented Kombucha or starter. Pour mixture into s gallon glads jar and finish filling with cold water. Add a scoby.( a live culture of bacteria and yeast ) https://a.co/d/5ta3cY6
Cover top of the jar with a couple of coffee fiters and seal with a rubber band. Store in a dark pantry for 7-14 days. Pour into kombucha jars and refrigerate after fermentation is complete
I added blueberries to my jars and did an overnight second fermentation and it is so delicious. ❤️😊💚
