Homebrew Beer Recipes
If you’re wondering about the title – I accidentally uploaded the wrong video first time! Well, what I think happened was I saved over this video with another. Either way, please continue …

Pacific ale! What is it? I’m not sure to be honest, but there it is on the shelves, so here’s my take …

Pacific ale is a kind of mild, fruity, “session” beer with hops that remind you of the Cook Islands for some reason. That’s right. In this case I’m using Galaxy because … close enough. I think it probably falls into golden ale territory so those are the parameters I’m using, and I’ve had to push the galaxy waaaay back in the schedule because it’s so potent of course.

Today’s recipe:
63% Ale malt
25% Vienna malt
8% Wheat malt
4% Toffee malt

OG 1.033

Magnum @60 to 22.5 IBUs
0.9 g/L Galaxy @-5
0.9 g/L Galaxy @cube
1.8 g/L Galaxy dry

Kolsch yeast

Stay tuned for the tasting video!
