How to Make Kombucha | Kombucha Recipe | Healthy Probiotic Drink

Nothing beats kombucha. It’s tasty, it’s refreshing, it’s probiotic…it’s everything you could want! But did you know you can make it too?

Here are our step by step instructions for making the best kombucha you will ever drink…at home! If you try it, let us know in the comments!

1) Measure 15 grams of tea and 45 grams of sugar.
2) Boil 2 liters of water.
3) Once the water boils, turn off heat, add tea and sugar, and stir a little.
4) Let it sit until it is room temperature.
5) Sterilize a sieve by pouring boiling water on it.
6) Take a clean jar and put your raw kombucha and scoby starter in it.
7) Pour the room temp tea in the jar using the sieve.
8) Set the lid and tighten, but not all the way!
9) Put the jar in a warm, dark place for 2 weeks.
10) Clean your bottles, and rinse with a little kombucha.
11) Pour out the kombucha you are rinsing with. Then pour fresh kombucha in bottles from the jar.
12) Close the lids tightly on the bottles.
13) Let bottles sit for 3-4 days in a warm, dark place.
14) Enjoy!
