How to Add Natural Fruit Flavor to Kombucha During Second Fermentation

Homebrew Kombucha
This video will show you how to add natural fruit flavor to kombucha during your second fermentation. We used raspberries, but you can use any of your favorite fruits – strawberries, blueberries, etc.

After your kombucha is finished with primary fermentation in your stainless steel fermenter, remove the scoby and add your fresh (washed) fruit. We are making raspberry kombucha in this video. We add roughly 1 cup of fresh fruit per gallon of fermenter kombucha. So we add 5 cups of fresh raspberries. Allow your kombucha to ferment with the fruit for another 3-5 days, and you will have amazing Raspberry flavored kombucha ready to keg and serve on draft!
